Beyond the Box Catering

Beyond the Box Catering is a full service catering company located in Dallas, Texas.  The company was started in 2003 by Chef Doug Brown.  After graduating from New York’s renowned Culinary Institute of America and later attaining his degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Florida International University, Chef Brown obtained his first Executive Chef position at the age of 23.  He then went on to hold several different Executive Chef positions all over the United States and achieved a number of accolades including, Breakout Chef of the Year from D Magazine.  After traveling and gaining a wide range of experience, Chef Brown settled down in Texas to develop his own company.  Beyond the Box Café was where it all started.  Beyond the Box Café was a small market located in downtown Dallas which put a unique twist on the "grab and go" concept by serving delicious, high quality, prepared foods, specializing in salads and sandwiches, while also providing many other options.  Shortly after the cafe, Beyond the Box Catering Company was developed and has continued to flourish ever since. 

Beyond the Box Catering specializes in high volume, full service catering and serves a wide range of cuisines.  They are the preferred and exclusive caterer at some of the city's top venues and have received many acknowledgments for their service including being voted Best Caterer in Dallas by D Magazine in 2010.  From daily corporate catering for small groups to weddings to large functions up to 4,000 people, Beyond the Box Catering is experienced in all aspects.  Beyond the Box takes great pride in using the freshest ingredients to prepare creative, unique and delicious meals for all types of occasions.
