Delicious, scratch-made food is at the heart of every Duvall celebration. Partnering with GrowFood Carolina, and Lowcountry Local First, we source the freshest products available, and take care to reveal their full flavors. Born in New York City, Executive Chef Matt Greene is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America. His passion for local, sustainable ingredients sparked during an externship in the great food city of Chicago and has been the driving force behind his cooking ever since. Since joining Duvall in 2009, Matt and his culinary team of 21 have created incredible food experiences for an array of events. Whether he's preparing Charleston home cooking for private dinner parties with The Lee Bros., an extravagant sushi display for international tennis stars at The Family Circle Cup or a contemporary served dinner reception for 300, Matt and his team work to ensure every bite is worth savoring.

Our culinary team also includes a dedicated sushi chef and pastry chef — who create everything from custom hand rolls to light-as-air pastries and ensure your culinary experience is one you'll always remember.  

Duvall Events also has a state-of-the-art, DHEC-certified, commissary kitchen that is a culinary haven and prep area for more than a dozen of Charleston's best food trucks and vendors. It's also an ideal venue for events – from cooking demonstrations, team-building classes, product tasting parties, Midtown Kitchen is the perfect venue for your next function.
